Updated: 06.10.2026
Over the first nine months of 2026 investors deployed €93,196,665 into projects on Maclear, deposited €63,057,380, and received €37,242,477 back in principal and interest across 486 projects that repaid. All-time capital invested went from €71.74M at the end of January to €157,491,273 at the end of September.
This review puts the nine monthly updates on one timeline. Read month by month, each report shows a jump or a dip; read together, they show two structural changes — a step up in deployment from July, and a repayment cycle that started in June and has not stopped since.

Every figure above comes from the monthly update published for that month. Two of them needed reconciliation before they could be charted, and both are explained at the end of this article.
Deployment stepped up in July and stayed there
Invested in projects on Maclear, month by month, January–September 2026
Monthly investment ran between €7.30M and €10.56M from January to June, averaging €9.22M. From July it moved to a different range: €13.81M, €11.02M, €13.05M — an average of €12.63M, or 37% above the first half.
July remains the strongest month of 2026 so far at €13,811,033. September came second at €13,054,678. Read in isolation, September's +18.5% over August looks like a breakout; against the full nine months it is a return to the July level after a softer August.
Deposits against capital deployed on Maclear, January–September 2026
Deposits followed the same shape but stayed below deployment every single month: €63.06M deposited against €93.20M invested. The gap is capital already on the platform being recycled — money returned from repayments and put back to work without a new transfer from a bank account.
June was the turning point for repayments
Principal and interest returned to investors on Maclear, January–September 2026
From January to May, monthly repayments sat between €2.04M and €2.92M — 22% to 34% of what was invested in the same month. In June they jumped to €6,861,067, or 65% of June's investment volume, and have stayed high since: 44% in July, 44% in August, 52% in September.
This is the single most important change of 2026 for an investor reading these reports. A platform that funds loans for months before any of them mature pays out little; once the first large cohort reaches maturity, repayment volume becomes a permanent feature.
Projects that repaid principal on Maclear each month, January–September 2026
The number of projects repaying principal tells the same story more plainly: 21, 38, 39, 34, 29 in the first five months, then 80 in June and 102 in September — the highest month of the year. Across nine months 486 projects repaid principal.
More projects repaying does not mean larger repayments per project. September's €6.74M came from 102 projects, an average of €66,055; June's €6.86M came from 80 projects, an average of €85,763. Repayment volume is now driven by how many loans mature, not by a handful of large ones.
Investor growth slowed down in the third quarter
New investors joining Maclear each month, January–September 2026
New investors joining each month roughly doubled over the period: 2,211 in January against 3,794 in September, with the peak at 4,707 in August. In total 30,685 investors joined during the nine months.
Growth was not linear. The first four months added between 2,087 and 2,836 per month; from May it moved above 3,700 and stayed there. September's 3,794 is a step down from August but still above every month before June.
One clarification matters here. The monthly updates label this figure as investors who interacted with the platform, but it is the number of investors who joined: September's 3,794 is exactly the increase of the all-time investor base, from 52,449 to 56,243. It measures acquisition, not activity.
The cumulative picture
All-time capital invested on Maclear at the end of each month, 2026
All-time capital invested grew from €71,736,575 at the end of January to €157,491,273 at the end of September — it more than doubled in nine months. Projects financed went from 1,109 to 2,293.
Monthly growth of the all-time total stayed in a narrow band of 8–12% throughout, so none of the month-to-month swings above broke the compounding rate. That is the useful way to read a single monthly update: as one point inside a steady curve, not as a trend of its own.
What nine months show that one month cannot
Deployment has a new baseline. €12.63M a month since July against €9.22M before. A month at €11M is now a below-average month, not a strong one.
Repayments are structural, not occasional. Since June every month has returned 44–65% of what was invested in it, against 22–34% before.
Liquidity recycling is visible. €93.20M deployed against €63.06M deposited means roughly a third of the capital put to work came from money already on the platform.
Acquisition and volume have decoupled. September had fewer new investors than August but deployed €2.04M more, so volume growth came from existing investors.
How these figures were compiled
All numbers come from the nine monthly investor updates published on this blog. Two needed reconciliation:
The February update states monthly investment of €7,301,065 — the same figure as January. Its own industry breakdown in the same report totals €8,450,641, and the platform statistics page confirms that number: its all-time invested series moves from €71,295,502 to €79,746,143 over February, a difference of exactly €8,450,641. That figure is used here.
The May update does not state how many investors joined that month. The figure used, 4,225, is the growth of the all-time investor base between the April and May reports.
Monthly investment figures and the month-on-month change in the all-time total differ by up to 1% because of where each report draws its cut-off; the published monthly figures are used throughout.
The platform statistics page carries the same series and keeps updating after each report is published, so its totals run slightly ahead: €157,991,259 invested all-time against €157,491,273 at the September report's cut-off.
Past performance does not guarantee future results, and capital invested in loans is at risk.
