September 2026 was a larger month than August on every flow metric: investors put €13.05M into 16 projects against €11.02M into 14, deposits rose to €9,183,738, and repayments reached €6,737,590 — the biggest payout month of the two by a wide margin.

One number moved the other way: 3,794 new investors joined in September against 4,707 in August. This comparison puts both months side by side and explains what the differences mean for an investor deciding where the platform is heading.

The headline: more money moved in both directions

Investors who received principal8,28811,627+3,339 (+40.3%)
Projects that repaid principal68102+34 (+50.0%)

Every flow metric grew. Investors committed €2.04M more than in August (+18.5%) across two extra projects, deposits added €1.51M (+19.6%), and the platform returned €1.88M more in principal and interest (+38.7%).

Repayments grew fastest. In August, repayments equalled 44.1% of the amount invested that month; in September they equalled 51.6%. For every euro investors put to work in September, slightly more than half a euro came back from loans reaching maturity.

Why 50% more projects repaid, but each repaid less

102 projects repaid principal in September against 68 in August — a 50.0% increase, the largest single change between the two months. The number of investors receiving principal rose in step, from 8,288 to 11,627 (+40.3%).

The average repayment per project fell: €71,440 in August against €66,055 in September. More loans reached maturity, and they were on average smaller ones. That is what a maturing loan book looks like when a platform funds a wide mix of ticket sizes — repayment volume comes from the number of loans closing, not from a few large ones.

Fewer new investors, more money per investor

The one metric that fell is new registrations: 3,794 in September against 4,707 in August, −19.4%. Worth reading carefully — this is the number of investors who joined during the month, not the number who were active. It matches exactly the growth of the all-time investor base, from 52,449 to 56,243.

Deposits grew 19.6% while new sign-ups fell 19.4%, so the money came from the existing investor base rather than from new accounts. A platform can grow its volumes either by adding investors or by existing investors committing more; in September it was the second.

Concentration went up by country, down by industry

Where the money went: top funded countries and industries, month on month
Share of monthly fundingAugust 2026September 2026
Top countryBulgaria — 47.76%Bulgaria — 60.90%
Second countryGermany — 23.60%Germany — 19.15%

Second industryServices — 38.17%Services — 23.75%
Top two industries combined80.93%63.21%

Bulgaria took 60.90% of September funding against 47.76% in August, so country concentration increased. Industry concentration moved the other way: the top two sectors took 63.21% of the month's funding against 80.93% in August, as Services dropped from 38.17% to 23.75% and Packaging and Distribution, Construction/Services and Manufactory/Production took a larger combined share.

For a diversified portfolio this matters more than the headline totals. A month in which three fifths of funding sits in one country is a month in which country selection does most of the work in an AutoInvest rule set.

The all-time picture

All-time track record at the end of each month
All-time metricEnd of August 2026End of September 2026Change
Total funds invested€144,136,425€157,491,273+€13,354,848 (+9.3%)
Total investors52,44956,243+3,794 (+7.2%)
Total projects financed2,1422,293+151 (+7.0%)

Cumulative growth stayed steady: +9.3% in funds invested, +7.2% in investors, +7.0% in financed projects. The month-to-month swings above sit inside a track record that keeps compounding at a similar rate.

What this means for an investor

  1. More supply to choose from. 16 funded projects against 14, and €2.04M more deployed, means more listings competed for investor money in September.
  2. More capital came back. €6.74M returned across 102 projects, so a larger share of portfolios freed up for reinvestment — the reason repayment months matter as much as funding months.
  3. Country mix shifted. Bulgaria's share rose by 13 percentage points. Investors who diversify by geography should check their allocation rather than assume last month's mix.
  4. Growth came from existing investors. Deposits rose while new registrations fell, which is a different growth engine from the one August showed.

Figures are taken from the published monthly updates. Past performance does not guarantee future results, and capital invested in loans is at risk.
