If the borrower defaults on monthly interest payments for more than 3 days, Maclear will continue paying out interest payments from the Provision fund until the borrower resumes interest payments according to the repayment schedule.

Maclear AG is a P2B crowdlending platform organized in accordance with Swiss financial market rules and regulations. According to the law, our company's activity is regulated, verified, and monitored by the SRO (Self-Regulated Organization membership). The Provision Fund is a reserve pool funded by platform commissions. If a borrower is late on interest payments, Maclear continues paying you on schedule, from the Provision Fund, while resolving the issue. This means your cash flow isn't interrupted by short-term borrower difficulties. The Provision Fund covers interest payment delays. It does not cover full capital loss in the event of a default. For that, Maclear acts as Collateral Agent and initiates legal enforcement of the borrower's collateral on your behalf.

To withdraw, go to Deposit/Withdraw, select your IBAN, enter the amount, and confirm. Requests are processed within 1–2 business days. EU transfers usually arrive the next day; non-EU transfers may take longer.

Our company is meticulous about selecting investment projects. For a potential borrowing project to be considered by Maclear specialists, we require that the applicant fill out a special questionnaire supported by numerous legal and financial documents about the borrower, beneficiaries, and possible guarantees. The project's initiator should also provide a detailed business plan and a financial model with a comprehensive legal, economic, and marketing analysis. Afterward, the project is initially evaluated and verified by our personnel. Further, the borrower must provide information about the legal entity's current financial position, valid and confirmed jurisdiction, previous experience, etc. After obtaining the necessary documents, a potential borrowing project undergoes a multi-level verification process, including, but not limited to, compliance, due diligence, and risk assessment. If the project passes all verification stages, our experts conduct the final stage of negotiations with the project initiators and sign all necessary and obligatory legal agreements. Subsequently, the project appears on the platform.

Interest Payment: This refers to the regular monthly payments the borrower makes to the investor throughout the loan term. These payments cover only the interest — not the loan amount itself (the principal). Principal Repayment: Refers to the return of the original amount of money that was invested.
The Secondary Market allows investors to sell their investments before maturity — a liquidity tool for those who need early exit. But it's also an entry point with exclusive opportunities: - Buy loan shares at a discount - Access projects no longer available on the primary market - Enter projects with a shorter remaining term — for example, buy into a 12-month loan at month 8 - Filter by your preferred metrics: LTV, Debt-to-Equity, and more Liquidity is not guaranteed — availability depends on buyer demand for a specific project.
