RPS Rewards: Play Daily and Unlock Promotional Rewards

A classic game, reimagined for the Maclear community. RPS Rewards is a 14-day promotional campaign built around a daily game of Rock Paper Scissors against the House. Make one free pick per day, collect wins throughout the campaign and unlock promotional rewards as the Win Counter grows.

There is no entry fee, no investment required to play and no monetary stake. RPS Rewards is designed as a free promotional feature for eligible Maclear users.

What are RPS Rewards?

RPS Rewards is a daily Rock Paper Scissors game available in a Maclear account during the campaign period.

Each day, one hand is chosen:

• Rock
• Paper
• Scissors

The House also has one hand for that round. If the selected hand beats the House Hand, the round counts as a win and the campaign Win Counter increases.

For example:

• The player selects Paper
• The House reveals Rock
• The outcome is Win
• The Win Counter increases by one

The more wins collected during the 14-day campaign, the more promotional rewards can be unlocked.

How the daily round works

Each daily round has two key stages: the Pick Window and the Reveal.

1. Make the pick

Rock, Paper or Scissors is chosen before 23:59 UTC. The choice can be updated during the Pick Window; the latest saved choice before the window closes is the one used for that round.

A new round opens immediately after the previous Pick Window closes. This means that from 00:00 UTC until 12:00 UTC two things can happen at the same time:

• The previous day’s round is waiting for its result to be revealed
• The pick for the new round can already be made

This allows daily play without waiting for the previous result.

2. Reveal the House hand

At 12:00 UTC on the following day, the House Hand is revealed. Once the Reveal is available, the round shows:

• The selected hand
• The House hand
• The outcome: Win, Lose or Draw
• The updated Win Counter
• Any promotional reward unlocked at the new Win Counter level

A win increases the Win Counter. A draw does not increase the counter, and neither does a loss.

How fairness is protected

The House hand is generated before the round opens and cannot be changed after users make their picks. To make this verifiable, Maclear uses a commit-reveal mechanism based on SHA-256 hashing:

1. Before the Pick Window opens, the system generates the House hand together with a unique Salt.
2. It publishes a hash created from that information, while the House hand itself remains hidden.
3. At 12:00 UTC the next day, Maclear reveals the House hand and the Salt.
4. The published hash can be checked against the revealed information to verify that the House hand was committed in advance.

In simple terms: the House move is fixed before the pick is made, but it remains hidden until the Reveal. The process is designed to ensure the outcome is fair and cannot be altered after the round begins.

The Reward Ladder

Rewards are based on the Win Counter for the campaign. Each new milestone can unlock a new promotional reward.

The maximum Win Counter for this campaign is 10 wins.

Using Cashback Boosts

Cashback Boosts apply to eligible investments made through a Reserve in the Primary Market. The following rules apply:

• Only one Cashback Boost can be active at a time.
• A newly unlocked Cashback Boost replaces any currently active Boost.
• The validity period of the newly unlocked Boost starts from zero when it is granted.
• To use a Cashback Boost, a Reserve must be created in the Primary Market before the Boost expires.
• The Reserve must reach Funded status for the Cashback Boost to apply.
• If no eligible Reserve is created before the Boost expires, or if the Reserve does not reach Funded status, the Boost expires without being applied.

For instance, if a 0.5% Cashback Boost is active and a 1.0% Cashback Boost is later unlocked, the earlier Boost is replaced. Only the new 1.0% Boost remains, with its own validity period and investment limit.

Where to check play history

A personal Play history is available in the game interface. It shows a record of completed rounds, including:

• Round date
• The selected hand
• The House hand
• The outcome
• Campaign progress

It can be used to review previous rounds and follow progress towards the next Reward Ladder milestone.

Who can take part?

RPS Rewards is available only to users who have completed KYC verification. The campaign is not available to users located in:

• Switzerland
• The Netherlands
• The United Kingdom

The game is free. It is not possible to pay or invest to enter a round, improve an outcome or obtain an additional pick.

Key campaign rules

• The campaign runs for 14 days.
• One daily pick can be made during each Pick Window.
• Picks must be made before 23:59 UTC.
• House Hands and round outcomes are revealed at 12:00 UTC on the following day.
• Rewards are promotional rewards, including Cashback Boosts, Invest Credits and Vouchers.
• Rewards are not cash prizes and participation does not involve a bet, stake or payment.
• Participation is subject to the campaign’s full Terms and Conditions.
